Private A Norris, 12610, of the 8the Batallion, the Army Cyclist Corps
was just 20, when he died on Saturday 8th June 1918.
He was the son of William and Sarah Norris of
168, Daubeney Road, Clapton Park, London.
A special memorial in the churchyard at Vandieres, Marne, France,
commemorates his name. Two of these special memorials were erected
for two British soldiers whose graves in the churchyard could not be
found, and are positioned near the north west entrance.
